Amir Muhammad is a Malaysian who runs the publishing company Buku Fixi, which has published over 200 pulp fiction books in Malay and English since 2011. It won an award from the London Book Fair and eight of its novels have had film/TV rights sold, but its biggest accomplishment is that its books are the ones most frequently confiscated by hostel wardens in local boarding schools.
