Carissa Foo is a lecturer of humanities (literature and writing) and fiction writer. She received her Ph.D. from Durham University (U.K.) where she worked on women’s experiences of places in modernist literature. Her field of research is women’s writing and its dialogues with love and spatial studies. She is the author of two novels, If It Were Up to Mrs Dada (2018) and What We Learned From Driving In Winter (2022).
