Michelle yeoh

Michelle Yeoh, an internationally acclaimed actress and producer, has starred in more than fifty films including global hits James Bond's “Tomorrow Never Dies”, Oscar-winning “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon”, “Memoirs of a Geisha”, “Sunshine”, “The Lady”, “Crazy Rich Asians”, Marvel smash “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” and sci-fi franchise TV series “Star Trek: Discovery” as a first Asian female Starfleet Captain. Through her films, she has challenged the traditional views of Asian women by creating very strong female roles.  Michelle has a prolific acting career with a diverse list of roles. Recently, she received critical acclaim for her spectacular performance in "Everything Everywhere All at Once" directed by Daniels. The film became the A24's highest-grossing film domestically.

 Michelle has devoted a major part of her time to charitable and social endeavors. She has been appointed as Goodwill Ambassador of United Nations Development Programme to raising awareness and mobilizing support for the recently launched Sustainable Development Goals around the world since 2016. She has joined Secretary-General of the United Nations His Excellency António Guterres to make a remake at United Nations High-Level Meeting on Peace-building and Sustaining Peace in New York in 2018.

 In 2020, she was listed on BBC 100 inspiring and influential women from around the world for her continuous contributions on Gender Equality and Asian Representation. Recently, she listed in Time 100 Influential People of 2022.
